HAND

Since launching our business, we have scanned a TON of static and mechanical objects. Scanning human body parts? That, on the other hand, hadn't even crossed our minds! Our first request took place at the Salon de l'industrie in Drummondville, in 2019. Two young podiatrists wanted a foot to be scanned. Believe it or not, from that moment on, similar requests began to multiply:

  1. 1. A client wanted us to scan his bust to make a model for a carnival
  2. 2. Another wanted to get a 3D scan of a heel cast in plaster in order to build a custom ice skate
  3. 3. We were even offered to scan the legs of a racehorse to make custom gaiters

Were we prepared to meet these demands? Not at all! In fact, we didn't even know there was a market for it. To prepare for these challenges, we experimented everything on our own hands. So we leave you with this image worthy of the movie Avatar which illustrates our first advances in these off-road trails. We are very proud of the results!
