Our 3D Preciscan device allows us to collect information on a manufactured part’s surface in a highly precise manner and compare it with its theoretical surface (3D). Thanks to special software and a colour scale, it is then easy for us to determine whether the part is compliant with the sizing criteria established by the engineers of a specific drawing (2D).

Our service is specifically designed for parts that are difficult to manipulate using common and traditional means, such as MMT’s or the FaroArm®.

REVERSE ENGINEERING OF PARTS

Are you looking to get a 3D representation of a part in order to create a 2D one, but it isn’t available on the market? Our scan can get you precisely what you need! Ideal for larger parts, parts that are difficult to manipulate, or parts with complex geometric shapes (i.e., drive sprocket or automotive body parts).

FEA CALCULATIONS

3D PRECISCAN is equipped to verify and validate these designs through Finite Element Stress Analysis (FEA) using HYPERWORKS software.

These analyzes make it possible to better visualize and understand the mechanical behavior of a part in an assembly, and therefore to size it in the right way.
