SEAT FRAME SAMPLE (PUBLIC TRANSPORT)
3D PreciScan was commissioned by KHROME to carry out a metrological control of a sample of a passenger seat frame for internal analysis.
This quality control of the initial samples sent by Khrome's supplier allowed the company to verify the compliance with the dimensional specifications of the plan. It also allowed Khrome to facilitate communication with its distant supplier in order to identify areas that needed to be corrected and consider improvement actions to be put in place.
KHROME is a systems integrator and component manufacturer in the public transit sector. The company designs and assembles passenger seats for trains, including the New York commuter train.
